Suboxone-Buprenorphine Treatment Program

   About Our Program

The Suboxone/ Buprenorphine outpatient treatment program at Wisconsin Community Mental Health Counseling Centers, is a medically monitored program for treatment of opiate dependence.  Our highly trained interdisciplinary staff, will assist you in overcoming the stigma attached to abuse of heroin, codeine, vicoden, Demerol, morphine, oxycontin, percodan and methadone.

Suboxone/ Buprenorphine is on FDA approved medication which is a sub-lingual tablet used for both detoxification or for maintenance treatment of patients who suffer from opioid dependence.  Suboxone suppresses withdrawal symptoms, decreases cravings and improves treatment retention.  Buprenorphine is an opioid partial agonist and designed to decrease the potential for relapse.

At WCMHCC, we recognize opiate dependence as a chronic medical condition affecting all areas of life.  We embrace interventions that include a comprehensive assessment, appropriated drug monitoring, counseling services, vocational resources and referrals,  The treatment will consist of three phases:

      • Induction
      • Stabilization
      • Maintenance
Some patients may only request medically supervised withdrawal but maintenance therapy may be indefinite and will be based on individual needs.  Your treatment will be held in strict confidence by our professional staff.

At WCMHCC we embrace a healing environment of empathy, caring, and gentle encouragement.  Our promise is to walk beside you through your unique journey of recovery and facilitate your eventual healing.
